Built in 1909 by Sir William Ingram the Town Hall Buildings have a fabulous history as an entertainment centre having been home to an assortment of colourful enterprises including a skating rink, theatre and cinema.
The Town Hall Buildings comprise of:
The ground floor of the main building where you see shop fronts, Frederick’s café and the Carlton Cinema
The first floor of the main building which is home to one of our event spaces The Function Room as well as commercial offices and residential accommodation
The Bake House is a smaller building alongside the Carlton Cinema. Originally a bakery we now use this space for private hire and community events
