Unique venue in Westgate-on-sea.

Built in 1909 by Sir William Ingram the Town Hall Buildings have a fabulous history as an entertainment centre having been home to an assortment of colourful enterprises including a skating rink, theatre and cinema.

The Town Hall Buildings comprise of:

  • The ground floor of the main building where you see shop fronts, Frederick’s café and the Carlton Cinema

  • The first floor of the main building which is home to one of our event spaces The Function Room as well as commercial offices and residential accommodation

  • The Bake House is a smaller building alongside the Carlton Cinema. Originally a bakery we now use this space for private hire and community events
